The plant was the first remedy that nature made available to man. From the very beginning, through all civilizations, plants have been used for domestic, dietary, ritual, cosmetic and, above all, therapeutic purposes. Aromatherapy is the culmination of this approach. It refers to the use of Essential Oils and Vegetable Oils for skin care. This book, which does not claim to replace a medical consultation, is designed as an aid to pharmacy advice. It is aimed at people wishing to use natural and alternative methods to help them treat minor everyday problems and improve their well-being. After studying mathematics at the École Supérieure de Chimie Organique et Minérale, Michel Faucon went on to study pharmacy and obtained his doctorate. He began his career as a pharmacist at Hôpital du Val de Grace. During his hospital career, he became aware of the benefits of aromatherapy. He attended and graduated from the Collège d'Enseignement de l'Aromathérapie. Today, he divides his time between his pharmaceutical dispensary and collaborations with companies specializing in aromatherapy, such as Eona and Essenciagua. He is also the founder of Phytophar laboratories and the training company Aroma-Sciences.
