

Headaches are one of the most common health problems. It's often a handicap, occurring just when you need to be at your best. How can we understand headaches? How do you react to the pain? The aim of this little book is to answer these questions rigorously and concisely. In many cases, we are perfectly capable of treating our own little aches and pains... provided we take a few precautions. Dr Bertrand Graz, originally a general practitioner, is a researcher and lecturer in public health at the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva. He also works with the Antenna Technologies association, with whom he has studied the effects of medicines as diverse as traditional Greco-Arabic medicine, European medicinal plants and traditional African malaria recipes. Jacques Falquet holds a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Geneva, and specialized in the molecular biology of higher plants at the University of Paris-IX, then at the Institut de Biotechnologie des Plantes. Scientific director of the international organization Antenna Technologies, he works with several NGOs in the health field. He proposes a scientific approach to local phytotherapies. Health autonomy is one of his favorite subjects.
