Shiva Lingam

Shiva Lingam is a stone of the Gods in Indian tradition.
The main deposits of these minerals are in India (Narmada River). Its beige-brown to red color and ovoid shape represent the energies of Yin and Yang. It is in the river, thanks to the currents of the water, that the Shiva lingam stones take their unique shape. They are then polished by craftsmen to perfect the smoothness of the stones. The stones are harvested in the dry season, but today major works are underway to build a hydraulic dam, and the Shiva lingam will be swallowed up by several meters of water, making it very difficult, if not impossible, to extract the stones.
